How Can be Methane Collected.

We know about the three R’s (Reduce, Reusing and Recycling) can help in the slow climate change only. So it’s important to the three R’s as much as we can, we know that it’s hard to throw out some trash in every week. The often reasons for the landfill, is some trash cannot be recycled or reused, so these which produces the methane as it decomposes.  The main powerful greenhouse gas is Methane.  It is found that One pound of methane traps 25 times more heat in the atmosphere than a pound of the carbon dioxide. The methane is also the main ingredient in the natural gas. Because methane can be captured from the landfills, this can be burned to produce electricity, heat buildings, or power garbage trucks. The capturing of methane before it gets into the atmosphere which helps in the reducing effect of the climate change.  Methane which also can be captured from the farm digester's, a big tank which contain manure and other waste from barns that house livestock such as cows and pigs.
 There are two type of methane project. The first one is a type capture and burns (flares) methane. Thus by the combustion, the methane gas is turned into less potent carbon dioxide and water. The examples be project which include the capture and flaring of landfill gas and coal mining gas. The second type of this project which captures methane and uses it to produce either hot water or electricity, such project which includes those that capture and purify methane in the wastewater treatment plants or fills and use it for electricity production or else the production of any other form of the energy. It is easy to establish additionality for methane project because there is generally no other source of revenue from the activity aside from the sale of offset. The Methane offset project yet potentially create disincentives to regulate landfills and agricultural emissions. If the methane capture and destruction becomes profitable, there will be little incentive for the project owners to support the legislation which will make mandate to capture and destruction from all the methane sources. Until yet such regulation will likely cover the more source of methane, and which would decrease the emissions directly without generating offsets which would allow the buyers to increase their emission.
